10. Your Rights Under Federal Laws

Section 222 of the Communications Act of 1934 provides additional privacy protections for customer proprietary network information (CPNI). If you subscribe to Services subject to these requirements, you have the right — and Viaanix has the duty — to protect CPNI confidentiality.

California Residents
California law provides rights to receive disclosures regarding collection, use, and sharing of “Personal Information,” rights to access, delete, and correct certain collected Personal Information, restrict “selling” or “sharing” certain Personal Information, and limit Sensitive Personal Information use.
Viaanix does not sell information identifying customers to anyone and does not knowingly sell personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia Residents
These states provide rights to access, delete, and correct certain “Personal Data,” restrict Personal Data use for targeted advertising, restrict Personal Data “sale,” and control sensitive Personal Data use. If Viaanix denies your request, you have the right to appeal the decision.
EEA, Switzerland, and United Kingdom Residents
The EU General Data Protection Regulation and UK General Data Protection Regulation provide rights to receive notice regarding data processing purposes and legal bases, personal information recipient categories, cross-border transfer information, and data retention criteria.
